Receive detailed measurement results and data from fuel cell system performance during driving cycle testing!
Content Fuel Cell System Testing:
- Measurement of voltage, current, temperature, pressure, volume flow based on P&ID plan
- Data acquisition system: INCA
- Measurement of legislation cycles (WLTP & NEDC) on roller dynamometer test bench at:
• official, ambient temperature (25°C / 23°C)
• cold start (-7°C)
• warm condition (35°C)
- Measurement on roller dynamometer test bench at different low temperatures and driving modes (Frost-start characterization)
- Fuel Cell stack & system mapping and efficiency investigations:
• Generation of fuel cell stack polarization curves via successive stack load increase (velocity increase)
• Starting from 0 km/h to max. velocity, with each load step being hold until stabilization of the systems temperatures, flow levels and output power is reached
• Start up and shut down investigations by measurement of the different components' operation procedures
- Fuel Cell System frost start characterization at -30°C:
• Pre-conditioning of the vehicle in a specific climate chamber
• Gas pedal tip-in and measurement of the energy flows to determine the systems performance related to operation temperature
Deliverables:
- Fuel Cell System and Fuel Cell Stack investigations regarding:
• Performance, efficiency, operation strategy, heat up strategy, start up and shut down procedure
- Analysis of the Fuel Cell systems operation under frost start conditions
- Report in *.pdf-format
- Raw Data
